刚果（金）石油公司投1亿美元用于油气钻井

中国石化新闻网讯 据道琼斯坎帕拉3月20日消息，刚果（金）石油公司一位高管周三表示，公司至少将投资1亿美元用于下月将开始启动的艾伯特湖刚果侧的首轮钻井活动。

英国图洛石油、法国道达尔和中海油在艾伯特湖乌干达侧发现高达35亿桶的石油储量的事实，提升了刚果存在巨大的石油资源的前景，刚果民主共和国沿艾伯特湖的这个不稳定的边界区域正在吸引越来越多的公司进行投资。这三家公司当前正在开发位于乌干达的油气资源。

刚果（金）石油公司首席执行长Giuseppe Ciccarelli告诉《华尔街日报》，未来几年，公司将在两个区块至少钻取四口油井，因为公司将加大努力来确定艾伯特湖刚果侧的油气资源潜力。

Oil Explorer to Spend $100 Million on Congo Drilling Campaign

KAMPALA, Uganda--Congo-based oil explorer, Oil of DR Congo, is planning to spend at least $100 million to kick start the first drilling campaign on the Congolese side of Lake Albert next month, a company executive said Wednesday.

The volatile border region of the Democratic Republic of Congo that runs through the lake is attracting the investment of more companies after U.K.-based Tullow Oil PLC, France's Total SA and China's Cnooc Ltd. discovered up to 3.5 billion barrels of crude on the Ugandan side, raising the prospect of big finds in the Congolese sector. The three companies are now developing their assets on the Ugandan side.

Oil of DR Congo's drilling program will target at least four wells in two blocks over the next couple of years, as the company steps up efforts to determine the resource potential on the Congolese side, Giuseppe Ciccarelli, the company's chief executive, told The Wall Street Journal.
